How to play Retro Bowl

You're both a head coach making tactical decisions and a powerful General Manager constructing the team. You must manage salaries, sign players, and upgrade facilities. Your ultimate mission is to transform a weak team into a powerful empire and conquer the glorious trophy.

Basic Controls

Passing

Tap and hold on the pitcher. The arc will reveal the direction and force of the throw.

Swipe in the opposite direction of the toss to modify the arc.

Let go of your finger to release the ball. Lob the ball into the space in front of the receiving player so that they may catch it while on the move.

Running

Swipe up or down to control a rushing player to avoid defenders after throwing the ball.

Building a Team

When you first start, you won't have many (Coaching Credits) or a salary cap. Apply the following strategy:

Prioritize 5-star Quarterbacks (QB) and Wide Receivers (WR): These are the "heart" of an explosive passing offensive play. A good QB and a fast WR can carry a weak team.

Don't overlook a fast Running Back (RB): When the opposing defense is too focused on intercepting passes, a surprise run can provide huge mileage.

Defense

Instead of buying many average defenders, focus your investment on 2-3 defensive stars in core positions such as Defensive Lineman, Linebacker, or Defensive Back. They have the ability to create game-changing steals.
