What is Ragdoll Archers

Ragdoll Archers is a physics-based archery fighting game created by Ericetto and first released in May 2023. Jumping into the game, you will control a floppy, ragdoll-style archer trying to shoot as many enemy archers as possible before they kill your character. You need to be faster and more accurate than your opponents; otherwise, the game may end quite quickly. Your archer dies when his HP hits zero.

Upgrades are always a big part of this game, which help you become stronger and ready to face much tougher opponents as the game progresses. Aim to defeat more and more rivals, earn points or skulls, and spend them on the upgrades you want.

Ragdoll Archers has 3 modes: 1 Player (go solo against AI-controlled enemies), PvP (player versus player on the same device), and 2 Players (co-op mode, playing on the same keyboard). Pick one that you like and start the game now.

As an archery game, your major goal is to take down your opponents with your bows and arrows as quickly as possible, whichever mode you select. Go solo or cooperate with a friend to dominate the arena and survive against a plethora of rival archers.

Here’s how to aim and shoot: Click, hold, and drag your left mouse to aim, and when you are ready, release to shoot. Remember, the longer you hold, the more powerful your shot. However, holding it for too long drains stamina.

After launching the ball, watch the trajectory line to predict your arrow’s path. If it doesn’t hit the target, adjust your aim to beat the enemies right away. A headshot is really handy to damage the opponents.

Manage HP and stamina; Hit the magic apples to recover

When your ragdoll archer runs out of HP, it’s game over. And without stamina, it’s totally useless—no actions are possible. Make sure those bars do not hit 0.

As the archer gets injured, the HP decreases while shooting too much, jumping, and holding the shot for too long all reduce the stamina quickly. Luckily, hitting apples gives you chances for recovery.

  • A green apple: +30 stamina
  • A red apple: +30 health
  • A yellow apple: +30 health and +30 stamina
  • A yellow apple with wings: +90 health, +90 stamina, and +1 life

Never forget upgrades

Upgrading is a must if you’d like to advance in Ragdoll Archers game. With skulls earned, you can choose to improve multiple aspects, including: Armor, Health, Lives, Stamina, Stamina refresh, Pull

Be quicker than your enemies to gain an edge, especially when you face 2 or more archers at once.

Prioritize accuracy. Aim for headshots to quickly take down the rivals. In addition, accurate shots also help save stamina.

Balance stamina management, arrow strength, and damage. The more you hold the arrow, the farther it flies and the more powerful the shot; however, this requires more stamina. So, adjust the shot’s power appropriately and only jump when needed to conserve stamina.

Be careful with the exaggerated ragdoll physics, especially when you jump. Sometimes, jumping without balance can lead your ragdoll archer to fall off the platform. Falling off means your HP bar hits zero.

Unlock unique rows. Aim to win against as many enemies in a row as possible to unlock unique arrows. There are 33 unlockable options available; focus on unlocking arrows that deal more damage for your advantage in the long run, particularly when you encounter increasingly tougher challenges.

Balance your upgrade choices. In Ragdoll Archers, each stat affects a different aspect of your survival and combat strategy. It’s better to balance them rather than focusing too much on one or two stats. They can make you strong in one or two areas but very weak in others.

Avoid hitting explosive balls when they are too close to you because the blast radius can hurt not just the opponent but your archer as well.
