In Blockader, your health is incredibly fragile; colliding with any creature or taking a hit costs you a life. Once you run out of lives, the match ends immediately.

Identifying Multi-Layered Threats

You’re not only surrounded by melee swarms closing the net around you in the arena. Usually, the biggest threat is from Snipers hanging out just outside the edge of the circle. They will be firing volleys of fire all the time, forcing you to give up your circular set movement patterns and to retreat, strafe, and suddenly change course.

Tactics for Building Superior Power

When you're picking Upgrade Cards between waves, don't just think about stat boosts. Think about each card as a building block for a wider plan. If you have picked a card that boosts firing rate, look for cards that add ricochet or splash damage to make your shots count even more.

Focus on the Skill Tree to pick up key survival numbers. You can then use any remaining Stars to buy Support Gear that will increase your movement speed to make up for slower reaction times.

Avoid being caught in the middle of the circle. Instead, travel around the safe outside rim, giving the auto-fire mechanism an unobstructed shot. This is about taking out waves of creatures, one after another, decisively, rather than dispersing fire everywhere.
