You have reached the battlefield of Brotato! You are a brave potato warrior, the sole survivor of a spaceship crash on an abandoned world. You have no other choice, but to become a deadly killing machine to protect yourself from hordes of blood hungry aliens.

    What makes Brotato unique?

Unlike typical shooters, Brotato thrusts you into a high-octane roguelite arena. Your character can wield up to six weapons simultaneously. Thanks to an automatic firing system, your hands are free to focus entirely on maneuvering, positioning, and strategically planning your upgrades. A smooth start can quickly spiral into a chaotic, cramped battlefield where even the slightest mistake could end your journey.

How to play Brotato & The Survival Loop

    Brotato

Your ultimate goal is to endure 20 increasingly intense waves of alien monsters.

    Fight and Gather

Enemies will attack you from all sides. Keep moving to avoid attacks and loot supplies from fallen enemies. The aim is to stay alive until the wave timer expires.

    Levelling up in the Shop

The breathing time and the visit to the shop are best taken in the intervals between waves. Use the items you've collected to purchase new weapons or handy objects. You have to really consider whether you want to upgrade your weaponry or your health/armor to prepare for the more dangerous attackers in the latter rounds.

    Controls

WASD / Arrow Keys: Move your character around the arena.

Mouse: Select items and navigate menus.

    Attacking: Triggers automatically.

    Survival Tips for Beginners

Never corner yourself. Moving toward open spaces is always the wisest survival strategy.

High firepower is great, but in the final waves, a large health pool and sturdy armor are what will truly save you.

Prioritize stat upgrades that directly complement the weapons you are currently wielding.

Materials are essential for upgrades, but rushing into the middle of a swarm just to collect a few dropped coins will likely get you wiped out before you even have a chance to spend them.
