    Google Snake's primary guideline is: Eat to grow, never bite yourself.

    A relentless snake travels under your control in a confined region. You must help the snake swallow random apples on the screen. Your score will rise as the snake grows longer with each apple.

    The longer the body, the less space for movement. If the snake's head touches the wall or its body, the game ends immediately. This survival game requires close attention and split-second planning.

    Besides the classic mode, modern Google Snake offers a range of exciting customizations such as changing the map, adding obstacles, a two-headed mode, or apples with special effects to refresh your experience.

    On PC

    Arrow Keys: Change the snake's direction.

    W, A, S, D: Alternative keys for navigation.

    On Mobile

    Swipe Screen: Swipe your finger in the direction you want the snake to move.

    When your snake starts to grow long and takes up half the screen, the space in the middle will be a deadly trap. Get into the habit of moving along the walls. This gives you a safe place in the middle of the game to manoeuvre around difficult fruits.

    Don't run in circles or randomly if you've practically filled the map. Zigzag or parallel movement is safest. This optimises coiling your snake body, allowing your tail to move.

    Sometimes the apple appears right next to the snake's body, but making a sudden turn can trap you. Keep a cool head! It's better to take a large, safe loop through the open area to reach your target than to risk squeezing through tight gaps and getting a Game Over.
