Kick the Buddy doesn’t have a rich storyline or brain-twisting riddles! It was built for one reason only. The reason was to be a virtual punching bag to take all of your frustrations and stress out on in a day.
The game's allure is the insane, enormous armament. Anything you can use, not only firearms, not only swords! Choose from natural materials, fauna, sci-fi machinery, the might of gods, or even a nuclear weapon.

To maximize fun and the speed at which you earn in-game currency, simply tapping or dropping a single weapon gets boring fast.
The highlight of the physics system in Kick the Buddy is how weapons interact with each other and the environment.
Fire & Fuel: Don't just set things ablaze. Use gasoline barrels or gas sprays to coat the room, then toss a spark to trigger massive, devastating explosions.
Ice & Sledgehammers: Use a freezing beam to turn Buddy into a solid block of ice. Then, immediately switch to a giant hammer or a heavy rock to shatter him into hundreds of tiny pieces.
Every little bit of damage you do is converted into currency and used to purchase newer and more powerful weapons.
Multi-Hit Weapons Rule: Weapons that hit several times, like chainsaws, miniguns, or swarms of bees, are the best at making money, since each hit drops money. In contrast, weapons that deal all damage at once, like sniper rifles or explosives, will earn revenue more slowly even when the total damage is great.
Automated Torture: When your digits grow tired, set loose autonomous traps like ricocheting buzzsaws, crisscrossing laser mines, or vats of acid. Just sit back and watch Buddy bouncing around the room chaotically as the money comes rolling in.
You don't always have to rely on weapons; put your own fingers to work. You can grab Buddy, stretch his limbs, or repeatedly slam him against the walls. Manually tossing him around—especially onto floor-mounted spike traps—offers a highly satisfying form of torture.
When just starting out, avoid squandering your limited gold and cash on outfits or background decorations for Buddy. Instead, focus your resources on unlocking weapon categories in the "Firearms" or "Things" sections; they are affordable yet provide a steady stream of income! This sets the perfect foundation for acquiring the expensive "super-weapons" found in the "Powers" category later on.
